In 2013 Adam Morrison and partner Teresa moved to Helensville for a taste of quiet town living and country views. Little did they know that a couple of months later they would be the proud owners of their first butchery.
Adam, with the help of his family, conceived the goal of bringing ethical meat choices and a wider range of quality small goods to the area. 17 years of honing his butchering skills through various renowned stores gave Adam a passion for producing outstanding product and providing top-notch customer service. Teresa’s customer service and marketing experience had her itching for the challenge of creating a new business.
Cleaver’s Edge was born. A little bit fancy, a little bit down to earth, but above all else, providing meat raised ethically to their local community.
Now, 2 years on, the couple have extended their family to include a 1 year old and another due mid 2016!
The busy work environment and new family life has proved challenging but very enjoyable for the couple who couldn’t be happier.
